These boho-inspired shoulder dusters feature a hand-cut leather teardrop embossed with a fern-like texture, then hand-inked with dark green archival ink for lasting color. An aventurine bead is wrapped to intricately detailed brass leaf which has been enhanced with bronze patina.
A tagua nut bead adds earthiness and length to this long duster.
Aventurine is a form of quartz, characterized by its translucency and the presence of platy mineral inclusions that give it a shimmering or glistening effect termed aventurescence. This stone is believed to be a positive stone of prosperity, diffusing negative emotions, reinforcing leadership, promoting compassion and encouraging perseverance.
Tagua nuts are a product made from the seeds of certain palm trees. Tagua nuts have long been used for adornment. Among indigenous communities of South America, Tagua nuts represented sacred, feminine energy.
Enhanced with brass components and a fish hook ear wire, these one of a kind earrings offer lots of movement and make a bold statement with multiple textures and bold color.
Length: 3-3/4" from top of ear wire. 3-1/4 inch from bottom of ear wire.
OOAK. Nickel and lead free.
Hand labor was used in the creation of this piece.
