Boho Blues Leather Beaded Necklace

What began as a plain piece of leather and some beads, is a showboat of my Studio Collection, which prominently features components I have handcrafted in my home studio. This piece now boasts of intricate embossing and the depth and character achieved by hand-staining with rich, blue ink.

The leather center was pierced to serve as the perfect canvas for the handmade Czech glass charms to dance freely.

Each bead unit, composed of two faceted Czech glass beads separated by decorative brass washer, adds a touch of elegance and allure to the design. The combination of textures and colors creates a harmonious blend that resonates with the bohemian spirit.

The necklace itself features three 9 mm brass rings, gracefully suspended from an 18" brass chain, adding a touch of vintage charm and sophistication to the ensemble.

Care Instructions: To maintain the beauty of this piece, avoid exposure to water, perfumes, and lotions. Store in a safe, dry place when not in use. Unsealed brass and copper will darken with age. To polish brass or copper, buff to your liking with a Sunshine cloth. Find here (paid link). The brass in this design can be buffed to a rich golden shine, if the wearer desires a less earthy look.

Avoid buffing leather and inked components or exposing to chemicals.
